About our chef, Rocky Packard
A native New Mexican with a love for spice and the smell of burning pinon wood, Rocky got his training at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco back in the dark ages and has since honed his skills in nationally known restaurants in New Mexico, Texas and California. Rocky spent eight years overseeing the foodservice department at Woodlands Market and then moved on to other opportunities. Rocky was recently called back to Woodlands to oversee Woodlands Café.
Woodlands café features fresh, seasonal casual fare with hints of Latin and Asian flavors, air chilled chicken and grass fed beef. Our café has fresh baked Woodlands scones, almond croissants and pumpkin turnovers every morning. Come in and try Rocky’s new creation. An eggs benedict with uncured ham, poached eggs on fresh baked corn muffins with a smoked paprika hollandaise sauce.
