If there’s anything you should know about Woodlands Market’s Meat & Seafood Department, it’s that we set quality standards wholly unique to us based on principles, education, philosophy, relationships, heritage, and experience.  We’re not bogged down by a corporate mission or controlled buying practices.  We have the ability to build quality relationships with local ranchers and seafood procurers that meet only the highest industry standards in animal welfare, processing, quality, taste, and value.

We work hard every day to keep our case stocked with the freshest cuts, as well as a large assortment of to-go, pre-cut, and ready-to-cook offerings.

Our fresh seafood is delivered six days a week by our trusted vendor All Seas Wholesale, and we always rotate out our fish every 24 hours.

Stemple Creek Ranch: This fourth generation, family-owned and operated ranch is located near Tomales in Marin County. Their free-range beef and lamb are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, and their pigs are humanely raised in large, outdoor pens where they enjoy a vegetarian diet.

Pure Country Pork: This family-owned and operated ranch in eastern Washington State sustainably raises pure-bred Berkshire hogs in a natural environment.

Niman Ranch: This network of independent farms and ranches, including small family operations in Dixon and Anderson, provides humanely and sustainably raised beef and lamb.

Mary’s Free-Range Chicken from Pitman Farms:  This third-generation farm has been owned and operated by the Pitman family since 1954. They set the standard for the best large-scale, well-controlled agricultural operations, with an unparalleled animal welfare program.

Diestel Family Turkey Ranch:  This fourth-generation, family-owned ranch in Sonora, in the Northern California foothills, has been in operation since 1949. They provide us with humanely and sustainably raised turkeys.
